5 - 7 August in Kalgoorlie WA

We are bringing our Battery Electric Mining Truck to Kalgoorlie for Diggers and Dealers 2024. Our team will be at Austin's booth #71 to provide information about EPCA and our technology.

The Green Machine will be parked at the KMS workshop (21 Broadwood Street, Kalgoorlie) alongside the UON DC Charger and open to everyone for a test drive. A bus will be available for visitors interested in visiting our truck from Diggers & Dealers. If you would like more information on how to catch the bus, we have created a WhatsApp group (HERE).
Project Update
The Green Machine
EPCA finished the truck ahead of schedule and delivered it to the conference. See the first test drive in the video below:
Thanks to Hon. Reece Whitby MLA for cutting the ribbon at The Electric Mine Conference in May.
ACHIEVEMENTS
The Green Machine will be taken to a mine for performance testing during August.

Do you want to know with 90% accuracy how EPCA's BET will perform in your mine?

Our feasibility study (EXTRACT HERE) includes a report with OPEX & CAPEX and simulation software (modelled in ANSYS digital twin). A BET versus diesel simulation video operating in your mine is also provided.

All tailored to your mine, your data, your report.

Our Reports
NOISE REPORT
We recently completed our noise test and compared it to a CAT777D & F.
RIMPULL CURVE

After the truck has completed its performance testing, the RIMPULL curve will be updated for our electric truck.

PERFORMANCE REPORT

This report will be available after the truck has completed its performance testing.

To request our reports, please reply to this email or email clayton.franklin@epca.net.au.
Thanks to all the companies that came out to our workshop in Hazelmere and had a test drive.

For those who still want to test drive, we can accommodate visits at the mine from 19 to 30 August. Please contact EPCA.

OUR PARTNERS

UON Website

EPCA has partnered with UON. UON is a Western Australian integrated energy and water solutions company providing turnkey solutions to the mining and resources sector and beyond.

This partnership gives us the capability to provide DC chargers and solar farms to our battery-electric mine haulage solution!

UON's charger can take DC or AC. It has its own batteries, so it trickle charges and then dumps into the truck. You don’t need more electrical infrastructure.

Contact UON or EPCA for more info.

AUSTIN Website
EPCA has partnered with Austin Engineering, a market-leading strong, lightweight truck tray that offers increased payload per tonne of material carried.
Apart from the fact that their tray looks fantastic on our truck, it's specifically designed to distribute the weight of the BET, giving it an extra 1.5 hours of runtime.

Noise Comparison: EPCA E100 Electric vs. CAT 777D Diesel

Miners are potentially exposed to noise levels of between 80 dB(A) and 120 dB(A) when they work and, therefore, run a high risk of developing noise-induced hearing loss (NIHL).

Our recent noise test compared the EPCA E100 Electric Truck and the equivalent Caterpillar 777D Diesel Truck. The results show that the electric truck is 10X quieter.

EPCA’s BET generates considerably less noise than equivalent diesel-powered trucks; thereby, noise-induced hearing loss can be reduced, allowing mines to operate longer and with unrestricted hours.
